About your Sterling Real Estate Partners Realtor

Choosing a Realtor that you can work with and trust is crucial. A Realtor’s job is to assist you with buying or selling one of your most considerable assets. A good Realtor is your advocate in this sale.  My goal with every real estate transaction is to give you the tools and assistance needed to make the best decisions for your situation. My knowledge and years of experience will provide you with the edge you need when planning your next real estate move.

My husband and I have made our home in the peaceful mountains of Western North Carolina since 1992, where we worked together to run our home remodeling business. Together we have built four houses, renovated two others, and renovated countless homes for clients. I have always taken an active part in designing and building these homes. From hanging rafters to laying hardwood floors, I have gained a great deal of respect and understanding of what goes into a well-built home.

This love of homes and home construction led me to become a Real Estate Broker in 2003 and later a General Contractor. I am also active in canine sports, competing with my golden retrievers, organizing obedience trials, and serving on the board (past treasurer) of the Sandlapper Golden Retriever Club. In addition, I am a stained glass artist, and I take pride and satisfaction in designing and creating glass art that I often donate to benefit rescues and canine health research.

Since starting my Real Estate Career long ago, I have won many sales awards and, more importantly to me, several Quality Service Awards. For several years I was Broker in Charge of a small office, managing nine other agents. Feeling the need to get back to what I love about real estate, I stepped down as the managing broker in 2017 to concentrate on my clients and their needs as a Broker Associate. I am now working with Sterling Real Estate Partners because of their creativity, marketing technology, customer service, and stellar reputation in Asheville and surrounding markets. I specialize in Residential Homes, Small Farms, and Land Tracks with a particular passion for Vintage Homes. My years working as a carpenter’s assistant and my beginnings in the marketing field will be used to your benefit when you are selling or buying a home. I recognize the unique needs that many of us have for ourselves and our homes. Sometimes the space we need is more about our lifestyle than putting a roof over our head.

A quick bit about my logo
I love to draw and create, and that love extends to my logo, website, and most of my marketing. I like to keep tight artistic control over my image and the image of my listings. This logo is of my beloved senior boy, Tripp. My dogs are often with me when working in real estate, and a large portion of my clientele find me through the dog show world. It’s only natural that my golden retriever would represent me. After all, I am hunting for and retrieving your home’s buyer as well as your next home!

Meet the Family!

Tyler
“Tanglewood’s Rowan Tree”

Tyler is trained through utility but decided a couch potato was a better life. As one friend best described her, “she is so sweet you will get a toothache!” That’s our girl!

Tripp
“Lyric Blue Highways, BN”

Tripp was the puppy I had to have. He stole my heart from day one. Tripp retired from showing at an early age due to a bad foot but that doesn’t stop him from hitting the hiking trails and being the best pup in the world!

Toke
“Lycinan Smokin’ in the Boys Room”

Toke is the new kid on the block with a bright future ahead of him! We picked him to join our family and to enjoy a future in performance dog sports. He is truly my dream come true puppy!

Then there is us!

After over 30 years, we are still best friends. Exploring Liverpool together and seeing all the Beatle’s haunts was a dream come true.
